APPLIES TO

  • Historian Server

EXPLANATION

  • Licensed tag count: The total number of tags you can configure for data retrieval in AVEVA Historian.  This number is derived from the currently assigned Historian Server license.
  • Allocated tag count license: The number of licensed tags current allocated to the Historian Server.  Licensed tags are allocated in blocks of 50, up to the total number of licensed tags.
  • Total tags defined: The number of tags defined in the Historian Server.  Includes both licensed tags as well as tags that do not require a license such as System tags.
  • Tags requiring a license: The number of defined tags that require a license.  This should be less than or equal to the Allocated Tag Count from above.
  • Total tag count available: The number of remaining “unused” licensed tags.  This number is calculated by subtracting the Allocated Tag Count from the Licensed Tag Count.
