WIN-911 Launches 2021 Release 2

WIN-911 announces “Release 2” of its bottom-up 2021 software redesign. Release Two includes five
major updates:

1/ Updated Advanced Notification Policies

This makes it easier than ever to configure escalation workflows that dynamically respond to changes in alarm conditions. Role-based alarm escalation allows you to notify based on job function. For example, if an alarm changes from low to high severity, you can escalate it to a different team for fast resolution. And the Label alarms feature allows you to escalate notifications based on alarm type, plant location, worker roles, or schedules.

2/ Simplified WIN-911 Backup and Restore Utility

Now it takes mere seconds to back up your configuration. Run it with Windows Task Scheduler to automate backups on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Restoring your saved data is just as easy — in just a couple of clicks, you can bring your old WIN-911 configuration back online.

3/ Updated Version 7.x Importer

With this handy tool, you can quickly migrate your version seven configuration directly to 2021.

4/ Added support for Aveva Edge

This makes your AVEVA Edge SCADA set-up, configuration, and ongoing system maintenance easier and more efficient.

5/ Added localization support

To service our global client base, we have added language support for Spanish, Chinese, German, Italian, and French.
