The AVEVA Communication Drivers Pack enables operations control applications to integrate external data sources with greater ease and efficiency. The 2023 R2 version continues AVEVA’s commitment to setting industrial standards and maintaining open interoperability in device integration and IT/OT convergence.

OPC UA Methods Client

The OPC UA Client in OI-Gateway adds support for OPC UA Methods, which facilitates function calls to objects in an OPC UA Server. Methods is a core capability in the comprehensive OPC UA standard and is used for both simple actions and for the exchange of complex payloads, such as recipes or production orders.
