Windows System Platform 2014 R2 SP1 Patch 02 resolves a number of issues and provides additional support for newer versions of Microsoft products released since Wonderware System Platform 2014 R2 Service Pack 1:

Reduced Downtime when Patching Redundant Platforms
The Patch Installation Guide includes a new workflow that will minimize the length of time that the platforms are undeployed during patch installation. The total downtime required to apply the patch is greatly reduced when compared to previous patch releases, and will range from a few seconds to a few minutes. Refer to the Patch Installation Guide for more information.

When Wonderware System Platform 2014 R2 SP1 Patch 02 is applied to a galaxy that has ASBOPCUAService configured, errors related to aaEngine are displayed in the logger. However, once galaxy patching completes and the galaxy is deployed, there are no run-time issues and run-time data can be seen. Workaround: Since there is no functional impact, no workaround is required. |
