Corporate Energy Management refers to sets of actions that move accountability for energy outcomes to all levels of the firm. With CEM, energy is no longer the sole responsibility of plant managers and engineers; in fact, CEM programs are designed to involve many areas of business activity, such as accounting, marketing, and others that were not traditionally concerned with energy. Bringing all related functions of a company into the picture helps to ensure that enterprise-wide opportunities are explored.
CEM 2014 R2 (version 2.1) brings several new capabilities and improvements to existing functionality:
·
Full support for Application Server redundancy.
·
New Demand Attribute in the CEM Meter object template
·
Simpler mechanism for calculations for virtual and delta meters.
·
After extensive and thorough testing periods with new test cases, CEM 2014 R2 is the most robust version of CEM ever.

The following requirements and compatibilities must be met for the proper operation of Wonderware® Corporate Energy Management 2014 R2.
The CEM Application Objects component represents the base features of CEM, and include the Templates you will derive in the ArchestrA IDE. This component requires Wonderware Application Server 2012 R2, 2014, or 2014 R2.
The Intelligence Model and Dashboards for CEM component enables analytics and dashboards within Wonderware Intelligence. It requires the ArchestrA IDE (ASP) 2012, 2012 R2, 2014, or 2014 R2, with Intelligence 2012 extensions.
The CEM Data Edition Tools component installs a set of web pages to the Wonderware Information Server (WIS) in order to edit data in the CEM database, and must be installed on a machine running WIS 2012 R2, 2014, or 2014 R2.
The CEM Reports component installs a set of report templates for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services which are hosted within WIS. This feature requires WIS (with reporting) 2012 R2, 2014, or 2014 R2.
