About This Release

This release supports the stand-alone installation of SuiteLink component. It contains various hot-fixes and improvements since its last release.

Enhancements added to improve SuiteLink resilience against malformed packets.

OpenSSL 1.1.1k Support

SuiteLink now uses OpenSSL 1.1.1k for secure communication.

System Requirements

This release supports the stand-alone installation of SuiteLink component. For a detailed information on product and platform compatibility, refer to the Technology Matrix section of the Global Customer Support (GCS) Site.

The following installation requirements are prerequisites for the SuiteLink to work properly:

Installation Information

Before installing the SuiteLink component, it is strongly recommended that you exit all AVEVA™ programs, including executable (.exe) files and services running on the computer. You may need to reboot the system, upon completion of the installation of this product.

This SuiteLink update must be applied on the nodes where AVEVA™ products make use of SuiteLink to connect to other products, such as InTouch in a tag server configuration, and other server configurations, such as Historian, Communication Drivers, IO Servers, and DAServers.

In a networked system with multiple AVEVA™ components, nodes with different versions of SuiteLink can coexist and continue to communicate with each other.

To install the SuiteLink 3.2.002 :

Right-click the SuiteLinkInstall.bat file and select Run as administrator and follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: Before running the SuiteLinkInstall.bat file, make sure you stop all the SuiteLink clients and servers. Otherwise, you have to reboot the system for the update to take effect.
