Installation Instructions

You can use the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 installer to install the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 product.

Before installing Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01, the installer installs the following prerequisites:

Installing Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01

Run the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 installer, based on the operating system, to install Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01.

To install on a 64-bit computer, run WWSK-BPM2014R2-SP2P01-x64.exe
To install on a 32-bit computer, run WWSK-BPM2014R2-SP2P01-x86.exe

Installing Wonderware Skelta BPM Locales for Brazilian Portuguese

Run the Wonderware Skelta BPM Brazilian Portuguese Localization installer, based on the operating system, to install Wonderware Skelta BPM Locales for Brazilian Portuguese.

To install on a 64-bit computer, run WWSKBPM2014R2-SP2P01-pt-BRLocale-x64.exe

Installing Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 Connector for Microsoft SharePoint

Run the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 Connector for Microsoft SharePoint installer to install Wonderware Skelta BPM Connector for Microsoft SharePoint.

To install on a 64-bit computer, run WWSK-BPM2014R2-SP2P01-SP2013Connector-x64.exe

You can use this connector with Microsoft SharePoint 2013 server. Wonderware Skelta BPM Connector for Microsoft SharePoint supports only on-premises installation of Microsoft SharePoint 2013.

Installing Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook

Run the Wonderware Skelta BPM Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook installer, based on the operating system, to install Wonderware Skelta BPM Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook.

To install on a 64-bit computer, run WWSK-BPM2014R2-SP2P01-OutlookAddins-x64.exe
To install on a 32-bit computer, run WWSK-BPM2014R2-SP2P01-OutlookAddins-x86.exe

Upgrading to Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01

You can upgrade to Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 from the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 version.

Before you run the upgrade installer, do the following:

Stop IIS. Run command prompt as an administrator, and type iisreset/stop.
Delete the SkeltaBPMTemp (C:\Windows\Temp\SkeltaBPMTemp) folder from the computer.
Delete the cache files from C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.xxxxx\Temporary ASP.NET Files\ based on the operating system. Delete all files and folders within this folder.
Clear the browser cache after you upgrade.

Note:

- Computers with more than 16 GB RAM will require more disk space for paging, hibernation, and dump files.

Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 now supports silent installation and configuration for the following:

Forms help you to create complex user interfaces with responsive design, adaptive layout, and cross-browser compatibility. Forms integrate with lists and workflows to enable rapid deployment of business applications.

Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 comes with the following new features,enhancements, and changes:

New Features

Intellisense support for Script Editor in Forms.
Listing of Controls, APIs, and Xml Structure trees in the Script Editor.
Auto Save and direct preview from the script editor.
The following new Security APIs have been added:
- SFU.getUserSecurityGroup()
- SFU.getValueForRightCode()

Enhancements

Attachment control with Persist File Name and Persist Custom File Name properties.
Invoke Workflow control with Show as Link and Form Button properties.
Pop-Up control with Alignment, Display Mode, Button Size, Image Path, Image Position ,and Form Button properties.
Password control with Form Type and Skelta List Type security modes.

Changes

In Attachment control, the Button Text property has been moved to the Basic tab.
In Button control, the default value of the Button Type property is changed to Custom.

Packages - 2014 R2 SP2 P01

Deploying artifacts from one environment or repository to another is critical for business uniformity and standardization. Packages help you to deploy artifacts, associated and child artifacts, configuration states, and containment states easily with package templates.

Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 enhances the user interface of packages and provides you the following new features:

Support to get runtime initialization form controls in the Package Setting forms.
Support to include Child artifacts and Associated artifacts to a list item; without including the other child items of parent items.
Validation of only the artifacts that are available in the package before installation.
Support to resolve the template path for report templates.

Central Configuration

The Wonderware Skelta BPM Central Configuration site enables you to do a host of activities from a single page such as create and manage repositories, configure settings for repositories and data source, and manage users and their licenses.

While creating a Wonderware Skelta BPM Repository, select the Display Domain name with User Name check box to display the domain name along with the user name in the Enterprise Console header. This is applicable only if the Resource Provider selected is Active Directory.

Enterprise Console

The Enterprise Console menu lists the options available for a specific user based on their Security Group mapping.

While adding participants to a queue, you can set the priority for the role participant. If a user is part of multiple roles, the role with the lowest priority value takes the highest precedence for determining the access rights.
Support for setting expression in ArchestrA Event Filters in Wait for the ArchestrA Event activity.

Work Task App

Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 is supported on App Version 4.3.5.0. This release supports iOS 8.0 to iOS 9.3 and Windows 8 , 8.1 for Work Tasks App.

Issues Resolved

The following are the important issues resolved in the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2 P01 release:

The count for the Inbox items (in the left tree panel of the Work Item List control) is always displayed in the Work Item List control, irrespective of the delivery channel selected.
The count for the Inbox items (in the left tree panel of the Work Item List control) decreases when a user takes ownership of a work item.
While packaging workflows containing MESXMLCommand Activity, If the "MESXMLCommand Activity Name" contains a space at the end, then the values for "Unique Environment Name" and "Middleware Machine Name" are not obtained from the specified target values in the package.
While packaging a form in Forms 2011, the lookup associated to it is missing.
When a workflow that has database activity is added to a package template, the SQL Script for the database activity is auto-populated. If the auto-populated SQL Script is manually deleted, then an exception occurs during installation.
In Forms 2011, if you design a form with a HTML Print control, and print the form, the form does not print completely.
In a workflow with Invoke Form Activity associated to Forms 2011, when you click the View Form in Submitted Form Details in BAM, the form does not load.
In Forms, if the source form of an embed form control has a panel form container, with the Tab Order property set as horizontal, then the form does not load.
When forms created in the Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP1, containing Data Lookup controls associated to a lookup is upgraded to Wonderware Skelta BPM 2014 R2 SP2, the Lookup Source property of the Data Lookup controls get cleared.
If a form contains a Base Form, Panel Form, or Tabs container and if the Image Path property is set to an image, then the page crashes and the image does not load.
Database activity does not support stored procedures with parameter validation and data integrity constraints or checks. If a stored procedure has validation, then the database activity:
- Returns an error while configuring the activity; thereby, resulting in the activity not being configured.
- Does not capture the runtime exception of the activity in the workflow.
When you create a custom web application, if you browse the custom aspx page which contains a Wonderware Skelta BPM Control, then the following message is displayed:
The user context is not valid. Please log onto to the Enterprise Console and try again.
